Pick up a copy FREE of the schedule for all game seasons at the regional office in the park. Hunting is sunrise to 1/2 hour AFTER sunset.

Dec. 6-11, 6 day - FIREARM

When horseback riding be sure and wear bright colors and put bells on your saddle. If you see hunters on the roads or ground and NOT in the trees, say "hello" so your horse hears their voice and knows they are NOT a monster. Always take your cell phone.
Fridays and Saturdays are the most popular hunting days. It's a good idea to drive through the park first to see if any dog trials or other events are going on in certain fields. Be safe.
