Certain Celebrity/Central Jersey Horse Country magazine is printed on white, glossy paper in full 4 color throughout. If you or your graphic artist have any questions please call us. To insure the best reproduction, read the requirements here. If you are not clear on any of the terms, or do not have the software to produce these requirements call us. We cannot guarantee quality of any PDF ad sent to us. However, if you follow these guidelines, there should be no problems.

The ad sizes listed are the “image areas” you must use. Keep your text and pictures in that area unless the pictures BLEED, then add a .5 inch.

Full page image area is 7 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches DEEP or HIGH. You can lay this out on an 8 1/2 x 11 layout.

But, if you are doing a quarter page ad size, 3 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches HIGH in image area, and you lay it out on an 8 1/2 by 11 format, you will be sending us a full page PDF which is wrong. You must use the exact image area size for your ad. Set up your layout based upon the exact ad dimensions.

Photos must be jpeg, 300 or 350 DPI, CMYK mode. If you do not have photoshop to convert pictures, call us.

ALL pictures, documents, images are CMYK mode NOT RGB

Picture resolution is 300 to 350 DPI and text resolution is 600. Black type must be set as 100% Black. CMYK color black will not print well.

Glossy page resolution is 300 to 350 DPI.

Final file format is Hi-RES, PRESS quality PDF. HI RES TIF or EPS.

NO crop marks on bleeds.

Bleeds add .5” and keep all text within the image area. NO crop marks.

Improper resolutions, PDF sizes that must be re-sized to fit, can cause fuzziness or distortion. The PDF on your computer program may appear clear, but what we get may be fuzzy.
